General Information: The Incident Management Team will host a community meeting for the Goldstone and Beaver Creek Fires today at 7:00 P.M. at the Wisdom Community Building in Wisdom, Montana. A second community meeting will be hosted on Wednesday at 6:00 P.M. at the 17 Mile Fire Station in Salmon, Idaho. Both meetings will be recorded and posted on the Beaverhead-Deerlodge and Salmon-Challis National Forests’ Facebook pages (see links below) for those unable to attend in-person. Stubblefield Fires (Wildfire)

The Stubblefield Fires include four fires surrounding the community of Condon, Oregon. The fires include the Stubblefield, Seale, Buckhorn and Lonerock Fires. The fires were detected after lightning passed through the area on August 16 and 17. The fires are burning on private and BLM managed lands, approximately 50 miles southeast of The Dalles, Oregon. There are numerous structures threatened and, as of today, the fires are being managed under Unified Command with Oregon State Fire Marshal’s Blue Team and Northwest Incident Management Team 7.
