Incident Reports for 2009
The following Incident Reports are for public viewing and are documented by 911 in the areas that "VMERU" volunteers served this past year.Included in this report are "VMERU" fundraisers and local calls for assistance by other not-for-profit Organizations.
January 5th 2009- Structure Fire -Dispatched by 911 Location:Caldwell County
January 6th 2009- Structure Fire - Dispatched by 911 Location:Caldwell County
January 18th 2009- Structure Fire/Vehicles involved-dispatched by 911-Location:Caldwell County
January 18th 2009-Restaurant Fire/Pit Fire-Volunteers were in Building at time of Dispatch-Caldwell County-Director of VMERU asked for assistance and mutual aid to help evacuate building.
March 10th 2009- Boy Scouts of America requested "VMERU" members to set up first aid station for their Cub Partner Weekend on May 16th-17th.
April 19th 2009-Fundraiser at Breed and Company in Austin Texas. 5 "VMERU" members were in attendance for this.
May 16th 2009- Gardian EMS requested the Volunteer Mobile Emergency Response Unit in Bastrop Texas to set up a booth and show the public how we provide REHAB for Emergency Workers at their annual EMS awareness Health Fair at the Tractor Supply.
June 9th-11th 2009- Capitol Area Council (Hill Country District)requested "VMERU" volunteers to set up and run a first aid station.This was a day camp.
June 16th-18th 2009- Cub Scout Summer Camp."VMERU" volunteers were requested to set up and run a first aid station at Camp Tom Wooten in Bastrop Texas.
July 20th 2009 -Red Cross requested rehab for thier golf tournament in La Grange Texas.This was an all day event.
August 3rd 2009-Structure Fire Maxwell Fire Department Responded and requested "VMERU" to set up Emergency Scene Rehab for their Fire Fighters. Cald Well County 911 Dispatched our unit.
September 2nd 2009- Fugitive Task Force in Williamson County and CTXVOAD requested "VMERU" to set up rehab for police officers and the Sheriff of Burnett Co. while a massive search for an excaped convict was underway.Williamson County Emergency Management requested the assistance.
October 3rd 2009- The Volunteers for the Volunteer Mobile Emergency Response Unit were asked to participate in the Travis County Sheriff's Office Extravaganza. This was our 3rd year to attend.
