Central Texas Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters (VOAD)
Central Texas Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (CTXVOAD) is a coalition of nonprofit organizations that work together and share resources and knowledge to ensure effective disaster response and recovery through Cooperation, Communication, Coordination, and Collaboration.
Our goal is to combine our resources in effort to reduce duplication of services and maximize resources available to those affected by a disaster.
Members of CTXVOAD provide a variety of services, which address the four phases of disaster: Preparation, Response, Recovery and Mitigation.
Central Texas Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (CTXVOAD) was established in 1996. The membership consist of over sixty partner organizations. CTXVOAD jurisdiction includes Travis, Bastrop, Caldwell and Hays Counties.
Central Texas VOAD members include faith-based organizations, social and human service organizations, emergency communication organizations, donation management organizations, animal rescue groups, public safety and emergency management partners, corporate and business partners.
