IS 100 , 200 and 700 instructor led class
If you would prefer to take the ICS 100 and ICS 700 courses in a classroom setting rather than on-line it will be made available on December 4th at 8:00 a.m.(2009)
Jim Parker will be teaching the class. Jim is the Caldwell County (Lockhart) Emergency Manager. There is a $ 10.00 per person fee for the class and it will include your snacks and beverages as well as the training materials.
If you are interested in the classes, please register with Cheryl Lassiter, Volunteer Mobile Emergency Response Unit Director (emtdff285@yahoo.com) no later than November 28th. Bring your check to class with you. Make it out to Jim Parker and make reference to ICS 100 and ICS 700 on the check.
CS-200.A: ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents
EMI Course Number: IS200
Bill Degnan will be teaching the IS 200 instructor led class. It is a two-day class.The class will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 21 st and 22nd , 2009 from 8 AM to 5PM.The class will be held at the Texas Health Institute in Austin Texas.
Please bring the 10.00 per student check to class with you and make reference to the IS 200 class"class material reimbursement" made out to Bill Degnan.
To receive a certificate of completion, students must take the 25-question
multiple-choice post test, and score 75% on the test.
The course objectives are to allow course participants to:
* Describe the ICS organization appropriate to the complexity of the incident or event.
* Use ICS to manage an incident or event.
