VERMU Response Area

The Volunteer Mobile Emergency Response Unit (VMERU) has established a tiered response area in Central Texas. The primary area includes the following counties:

  • Bastrop - County Wide
  • Caldwell - County Wide
  • Travis - Eastern
  • Hays - Eastern
  • Fayette - Western

    • The secondary area includes the following counties:

  • Travis - Western
  • Hays - Western
  • Williamson
  • Lee - County Wide
  • Fayette - Eastern
  • Lavaca - Eastern
  • Gonzales - Southern
  • Guadalupe - Eastern

    • Agencies in those areas are invited to explore establishing agreements with VMERU for Rehab services.

    VMERU may also establish agreements with agencies outside Central Texas for extended disaster relief operational support.
